This converter/adapter kit was a total waste of money. Would not stay in the plugs in Rwanda…..:( Fortunately a traveling companion had a set of adapters like I had sitting at home….they fit and worked very well.

When it first came out from the package, I was a little worried. It didn’t look like a quality converter. But when I brought it along when traveling overseas, it worked fine all the way.

I purchased this for our European trip before did my research being under the impression that I need a converter. However, don’t need a converter for most of electronics when travel overseas (e.g. laptop, camera charger, electric shaver, etc) All you need is an adapter. This converter is pretty heavy, approximately 1lbs and take a lot of room. I am not saying this is a bad product, but an unnecessary product if you are planning to use electronics with a converter incorporated. If that is the case buy just a lightweight adapter. Before you buy this, check carefully to make sure if you need a converter or an adapter.
